A2A participated in MEFTEC during period 09/02/2009-11/02/2009 in Bahrain.

A2A are very announced its largest contribution in MEFTEC so far. The exhibition started on the 10th of February and went on for two days. A2A made some great announcements. Here is a brief overview:



◦ AMWAL (the entity representing Iraqi banks) choose the A2A middleware to connect the Iraq banks to a common ATM/POS EFT switch.
◦ Eight Arab Bank operations (countries) are now using the A2A smsBanking® System.
◦ The A2A P2P Payment system is now fully operational in Syria. This system allows for payment to the unbanked using SMS.
◦ EBS of Sudan implements A2A smsBanking® System for the Sudanese national switch.
◦ The latest version of A2A iBanking® (the corporate and personal Internet banking solution) has been implemented in four countries.
